Open prayer times data

A reproducible 2027 dataset for 307 cities in seven countries, with both Asr times and explicit time-zone offsets.

Download the 2027 release

Version 1.0.0 contains 112,055 calculated city-days and 30,660 method-comparison rows. These are calculated estimates, not official mosque schedules, iqamah times or Jumu'ah times.

Also available on Kaggle, Hugging Face and Zenodo (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.23874864).

What is included?

Fajr, sunrise, Dhuhr, Shafi‘i and Hanafi Asr, Maghrib and Isha are recorded as UTC instants and local ISO timestamps with event-specific offsets. City metadata includes coordinates, IANA time zone, region and country. Local date rollover and daylight-saving changes are preserved.

Countries: Pakistan, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India and Bangladesh. The city set is selected; it is not a worldwide census.

Methods and interpretation

The data uses Adhan JS 4.4.6 and the same calculation implementation as this site. Read the calculation methodology. The comparison covers Karachi, ISNA, Muslim World League, Moonsighting Committee, Umm al-Qura and Egyptian methods. High-latitude fallback follows the library's recommended rule, with method-specific seasonal behavior where applicable.

Umm al-Qura uses a fixed 90-minute Isha interval in this release, without the additional Ramadan adjustment. Method differences are sensitivity comparisons, not accuracy rankings. Future time-zone rules can change. For congregation times, follow your local mosque.
