Some use the Umm al-Qura calendar, some an arithmetic (tabular) Hijri calendar, and some follow local moon-sighting announcements. They can disagree by a day, occasionally two. The month length (29 or 30 days) is also decided by sighting in many countries, so a calendar printed in advance is an expectation, not a confirmation.
